Flag Poles installed at Chevington for ANZAC
One of the biggest ANZAC ceremonies in the Region is held at Chevington.
Each year I work alongside the British Legion and others to make sure the War Graves are looking at their best.
This year I've installed Flag Poles to assist with the ceremony and provide the statue required for the event.
I will be laying a wreath as usual on behalf of local people who housed and looked after allied servicemen during the War, many never made it home to Australia or New Zealand. Also on behalf of Northumberland County Council and all residents in appreciation of the sacrifices made.
The service will be at 2pm on Sunday.
