Scott nominates Joan as Community Champion

So today in Hadston we had the company of Liz Simpson who runs the Councils Community Hero Scheme. 

I nominated a well known community person Joan Miller who has worked tirelessly in our community for years. 

Serving the area with the Poppy Appeal for over 25yrs, organised the Shoe Box appeal sending thousands of Christmas boxes to disadvantaged children all over the world with the help from locals, valued and hardworking member of the WI, volunteered at the Community Cafe for 10yrs and this is just to name a few. 

She does so much more......I wanted Joan to know collectively while she goes quietly about her business we all recognise and appreciate her efforts.
