New Path for Drift Memorial Stone

Delighted to have listened to residents and installed a much needed path to the old Drift Memorial Stone which marks the entrance of the former mine. The mine which created our communities and gave us the characters we have in our communities.

It is important that this memorial area was made accessible for those residents who want to access it and remember those who have passed or just remember the area that was the Drift and the special times experienced there.
